Suffering From Heel Pain?

Heel pain

If you are having plantar fasciitis or heel pain…

We Have the Answer!

If plantar fasciitis or heel pain is causing you pain with walking, running or making you feel like you can’t function at your best level, there is help.

Here are some tips that can help make your plantar fasciitis better fast:

Conventional Treatments
A lot of the conventional treatments like steroid injections or anti-inflammatory drugs should be avoided. They are only temporary and are just masking the pain.  These treatments can even cause damaging side effects.  Furthermore, these treatments also fail to address the root cause of the problem.

What This Problem Requires
This problem requires corrective exercises to improve flexibility and strength.  Soft tissue and joint mobilization is also helpful to restore normalcy.  While education on proper footwear and improvements in your current activities will aide in making change that is long-term.

Ignoring it Won’t Make it Go Away
If you ignore your plantar fasciitis or heel pain, you could end up with a chronic pain condition that is more difficult to treat.  Consequently, this could result in a much longer road to recovery, and more time away from your favorite activities.

Worse yet, you may require painful surgery which will greatly limit your ability to return to normal daily, work and recreational function.

Here’s a  Quick Tip

One quick tip for you to do on your own at home is a self-massage technique.  This will help to improve flexibility of your calf muscles and alleviate heel pain. I’ll show you how you can learn this technique.

The Reason I’m Doing This

The reason why I’m shedding light onto this problem is because of the growing number of people who are suffering from plantar fasciitis and heel pain.  Plantar fasciitis and heel pain is drastically affecting people’s ability to perform at their highest level.  This could mean decrease work productivity, inability to exercise, or lack of participation in social activities.

Common Causes

Some of the most common causes of this problem are muscle tightness, weakness and repetitive stress. High impact activities, such as running or labor intensive work, are also common causes of plantar fasciitis.

Patients Find Pain Relief and Increase Function
This is what one of my patients had to say about her treatment,

“It wasn’t until I began working with Bryan that I was able to walk without pain.  I was even able to hike and play softball again!” – J. W.
